Music has always been apart of my life. I’ve always been listening to music and learned to play instruments at a young age. But I few years ago I started to take creating music more seriously and was lucky to find so many amazing people quite early to work with, and many of them are still in my life today and we still create music together.

When it comes to lofi it has definitely been working with amazing artists that I look up to. That has helped me evolve and find my own sound and be more proud of my work.

The first thing I do is to make sure I get the mood I’m looking for with the main chord pattern and after that I start building the drums and atmosphere in the song. Then I take my time adding the right melodies on top of that. What saves me a lot of time is having templates for the different types of genres I work with. So no time or creative moment is wasted.

I love reading books, or going on long walks in the forest. Those things really help with clearing my mind and to regain some energy or inspiration.

I had recorded the main piano progression awhile back and had to sit with it some time to know where I wanted to take the song. I experimented with some guitar melodies that didn’t quite feel right, but as soon as I started recording the guitars that are now in the song it clicked and I finished up the song. I had this vision with the piano to bring a feeling of being in a dream to the listener and really wanted to make sure the rest of the song also captured that feeling.
